The Seedburo Model 8800SS Computer Grain Scale is the industry leader in grading scales. Used worldwide, this scale is capable of providing the user with dockage (foreign material) percentage, test weight results in pounds per bushel or kilograms per hectoliter, and gram weight all at the push of a button. Ruggedly built with time-proven technology, the 8800SS is easy to use. Built-in memory function allows a sample to be stored and recalled for easy calculation of percentages.

Additional features allow for setup procedures of standard or reciprocal percentage modes, cup selection (quart, pint or liter), active/frozen percent and test weight selection and many other internal scale functions. GAMET Apollo 610A Truck Probe

PORTA-PROBE

The GSF PORTA-PROBE enables an operator to sample any grain storage unit without emptying the bin or car. By physically inspecting and grading the in-bin samples quality can be accurately determined and potential problems avoided. Samples can be secured from depths up to 90 feet. The PORTA-PROBE unit stays outside the facility and samples are collected and bagged at the base unit. Eliminate costly electric motors, electrical extension cords, bulky and dirty collection cyclones and the backbreaking work of conventional in-bin sampling. Consider the following actual applications of the PORTA-PROBE.

• Rail cars can be quickly sampled, prior to unloading, to confirm if the car meets acceptable minimum standards.
• Secure a sample from on-farm storage bins.
• Bins can be sampled to confirm extent of an inadvertent operator foul-up mixing corn and soybeans.
• Grain storage bin can be sampled to confirm a “hot spot” without expensive unloading of the bin.
• Suspect bin can be sampled and samples tested for mycotoxin levels in the stored product without threat of contamination to the rest of the elevator.
• Popcorn storage bins can be sampled to determine white vs. yellow cross-contamination.
• Temporary storage pile can be sampled horizontally from outside the containment wall to determine quality and possibility of holding grain condition for a few extra months.
